• License Validity: The main driver and all permitted additional drivers must possess a full, valid domestic driver’s license held for a minimum of one (1) year with no major endorsements or suspensions.
• International Renters: Non-Malaysian residents must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their original national domestic driving license.
• Age Limits: Drivers must be between the ages of 21 and 65. Drivers outside this bracket may be subject to  additional insurance surcharges or restricted vehicle categories.

• Accepted Payment Methods: Mastercard, Visa, Debit/Prepaid Cards, and American Express. (Note: American Express transactions are subject to a 3% processing surcharge).
• Security Deposit: A standard deposit of MYR 1,000.00 will be authorized or held against the renter’s credit/debit card for the duration of the rental. This deposit acts as a guarantee against vehicle damage, theft, traffic violations, or fines.
• Release of Deposit: The deposit hold will be released automatically post-rental, provided the vehicle is returned without damage, theft summons, or outstanding fines, subject to bank processing times.
• Cardholder Requirements:
  • The credit/debit card must be issued in the name of the main lead renter (matches the booking name). Thirdparty cards are strictly not accepted.
  • The card must be physically presented at the rental desk, must be embossed, and the renter must provide the  chip PIN if required.
• Failure to Comply: If the renter fails to present a valid card, if the name does not match, or if funds are insufficient to cover the deposit, Globalserv Car Rental & Tour Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to withhold the vehicle. In these instances, no refunds will be issued.

• Verification: A valid photo ID (Passport for international travelers, MyKad for Malaysian citizens) must be provided upon collection.
• Language: Any foreign documentation or licenses not written in English or Malay must be accompanied by an official, certified English translation.

• Prohibited Zones: Vehicles owned by Globalserv Car Rental & Tour Sdn. Bhd. are strictly prohibited from being driven into Labuan, Langkawi, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, and Indonesia.
• Breach of Terms: Crossing these borders invalidates all insurance coverage. The renter will assume full financial liability for the complete value of the vehicle and any subsequent legal damages.

• Like-for-Like Return: The vehicle will be delivered with a specific fuel level (typically a full tank) and must be returned by the renter with the exact same level.
• Refueling Surcharge: If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than initially provided, a refueling surcharge will be levied on top of the actual cost of the missing fuel.
• Replacement Vehicles: The exact same policy applies to any replacement or courtesy vehicles provided during the rental term.
• Fuel Type: Renters must use the correct fuel type specified for the vehicle (e.g., RON 95 / RON 97). Any damage caused by misfueling will be billed entirely to the renter.

• Speed Regulations: Renters must adhere to Malaysian speed laws: strictly 50 KM/H in city zones and 110 KM/H on highways, unless signposted otherwise.
• Renter Liability: The renter is fully liable for all parking fees, traffic summonses, speeding tickets, and toll violations incurred during the rental period.
• Administration Fee: An administrative fee of RM 10.60 per summons (inclusive of prevailing SST) will be charged to the renter’s credit/debit card over and above the cost of the penalty itself.
• Delayed Charges: Globalserv Car Rental & Tour Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to charge the renter’s card for any traffic offenses detected after the termination of the rental agreement.

• Prior Notice Required: To extend a rental beyond the agreed drop-off date and time, the renter must notify Globalserv Car Rental & Tour Sdn. Bhd. immediately to ensure insurance coverage remains active.
• Unauthorized Extensions: Failure to notify the company means the vehicle is being driven uninsured.
• Rates & Penalties:
  • Additional hours will be billed at RM 20.00 per hour.
  • Delays exceeding six (6) hours will automatically trigger a full 1-day rental charge at current walk-in rates.
  • Extensions made without prior authorization will be billed at the walk-in rate plus a fixed penalty of RM 200.00. No promotional booking rates will apply.\
• Early Returns: No refunds or credits will be issued for unused rental days or early vehicle returns.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

Motors is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

The Motors is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Motors and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York for the resolution of any disputes.
